What we do

Aged Care

Our friendly residential aged care communities are a home away from home for older people who are not able to live independently. As a resident you benefit from 24-hour staff support, regular social events, activities and outings, as well as easy access to allied health professionals.

Retirement Living

With modern facilities, we build retirement living communities which encourage social interaction while enabling people live their own lives independently. With an array of retirement villas, we offer one-to-three-bedroom homes with a variety of floor plans to suit all preferences.

Combining independence and security, together with maintenance-free, friendly community living, you join a neighbourhood of friends. And there’s the peace of mind knowing our Home Care service is available to assist with domestic assistance from cleaning to yard maintenance as well as personal care and social engagement.

Youth Support

Our youth accommodation centres are a safe haven for young people who may have experienced abuse and neglect, are disengaged from the community or are at risk of homelessness.

The young people in our care feel valued, as we show them there is hope for them to reach their full potential through counselling as well as support to find work or continue their education and training.

Education

Our special assistance schools offer more than an alternative style of education to disengaged and at-risk youth. We walk alongside young people in times of need and encourage them to achieve their dreams. Through practical learning and life-skills training, Carinity is helping to bring purpose and direction to young people’s lives and hope for a better future.

Community Services

Our counselling services offer support and strategies to assist people move forward with their lives. This may include times of personal loss, serious family strain, mental health or abuse and neglect. Our chaplains are there to listen and provide spiritual guidance and help more than 12,000 people throughout Queensland hospitals every year. We empower people with disability to engage with their communities.
